iMedExchange member growth has seen some equally interesting trends to date. Despite our initial expectation that the majority of our members would be physicians under 35, the actual average is slightly over 50. The mix is bent in favor of men but there is not a large disparity. The evidence is becoming clear, as social networking has become more and more common, the demographics no longer heavily lean toward the 20-something crowd.
